Big BigRooom is event software: organisers use it to build an invitation card, send it to their guests, and collect replies. This page explains what we hold and why, in plain language.
What we collect
- Organiser account: name, email address, and the events you create.
- Guest details you enter: the family or guest name, contact numbers and any note you add. You provide these; we store them on your behalf.
- Replies: the answer each family gives, function by function, with the number of ladies and gents attending.
- Delivery and open information: whether a WhatsApp message was delivered, how many times a family opened their invitation link, on how many devices, and when it was last opened. Opens are recorded per family and per device — never attributed to an individual person.
What we do not do
- We do not sell guest data.
- We do not show advertising inside the invitation a guest receives.
- We do not ask guests to create an account. A guest opens a private link and replies.
Who can see a guest list
A guest list belongs to the organisation that created the event. Only members of that organisation, with the roles the owner has granted, can see it. Each invitation link is unique to one family and is not listed publicly.
Where it is stored and for how long
Data is stored on servers we operate, and messages are delivered through the WhatsApp number the organiser connects. Event data is kept while the event exists in the account and is removed when the organiser deletes it or asks us to.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising cookies. The application uses a session cookie so that a signed-in organiser stays signed in.
Your choices
An organiser can correct or delete guest records at any time. A guest who wants their details removed should contact the organiser who invited them; we act on the organiser’s instruction.
